The Maxforce FC Professional Roach Bait Gel active ingredient is 0.01% Fipronil. The bait can be strategically placed at sites of roach activity and will generally last longer than sprays.
The Maxforce FC Professional Roach Bait Gel exclusive Domino Effect delayed killing action enables one contaminated roach to kill many others where they live and breed. A foraging roach is guaranteed to receive a lethal dose from a single feeding, but lives long enough to return to the harborage where its poisoned feces are consumed by other roaches.
The Maxforce FC Professional Roach Bait Gel adheres to any clean surface at any angle; flat, vertical or inverted. The Maxforce FC Professional Roach Bait Gel has USDA authorization for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants. It may be used in residential food processing areas without covering food preparation surfaces during treatment. The Maxforce FC Professional Roach Bait Gel may be used as a spot or crack/crevice treatment for the indoor and outdoor control of cockroaches in residential areas and the non-food/non-feed areas of institutional, warehousing and commercial establishments, including warehouses, restaurants, food processing plants, supermarkets, hospitals, motels, hotels, schools, laboratories, and many more facilities. It may also be used in occupied rooms of hospitals, nursing homes, and extended care facilities.
The application rate of Maxforce FC Professional Roach Bait Gel is dependent on level of infestation. It can be applied as spots (size of a pea) or as a bead in cracks and crevices. Place bait near the cockroaches' harborages, food and water sources. The usual places for bait placements are in dark, warm and damp areas. As a general rule, smaller, more frequent gel applications are more effective than fewer, larger placements. NEVER SPRAY insecticides over bait placements or on newly sprayed surfaces because it will contaminate the bait.
The Maxforce FC Professional Roach Bait Gel retains its high moisture content in a wide range of conditions. The temperature ranges should be between 10-120 degrees F. Reapply bait when it is no longer visibly present according to the remaining level of infestation. This is generally at a lower rate than the initial treatment. The inert protein source found in the bait as the attractant is very irresistible.
A large infestation will require the use of a growth regulator like the Gentrol Aerosol which will break up the life cycle and stop the roaches from reproducing.
